Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-great experiences. The location is fantastic for exploring Charleston and its surroundings, and it's close to downtown and great food spots in Mt. Pleasant. However, the rooms had a strong odor under the air conditioner unit, likely due to some rowdy behavior from other guests. The service was a bit of a mixed bag but I appreciated their help with storing my luggage. Despite the dining options being limited and the room's odd smell, the overall experience was decent considering the hotel's convenient location.
The hotel had a convenient location near Patriot Point, making it easy to visit. However, the rooms had a strong musty smell, giving off a suspicious vibe, and the service was unfriendly and unaccommodating. The dining options were very limited, with just toast and coffee available. On the upside, the hotel provided a comfortable sleep experience like 'sleeping on a cloud' and offered easy access to Charleston for those driving into the city.
The hotel had a weird feeling, like it was used for illegal activities, and overall cleanliness was lacking. Despite its age, the property did not feel very clean, and if there was availability elsewhere, I would have preferred to stay there. The rooms had an odor, felt dirty, and the surrounding grounds and refreshment machines in the breezeway were also unclean.
